How to Use Example Syllabi

The various syllabi presented here are meant to be guide for educators. Below you'll find suggested areas of study for Game Audio with course topics, schedules, sample projects, and suggested texts. Since Game Audio as a subject is a relatively new area for study these courses have not been tested. Over time hopefully with your feedback and suggestions we can improve this site based on real educational scenarios. Please contant us if you have suggestions or changes based on your experiences.

The course descriptions below give a basic overview for the topics contained course. Each of the descriptions below have a more detailed pdf file that accompanies it. These pdf links contain in more detail a week by week schedule of topics, sample texts, and suggested projects to encourage advancement.

The courses suggested below cover four main areas of Game Audio study.



In addition these syllabi in the future we hope to add the topic of programming for game audio as well as other course suggestions.

Also, please part of this project has been spun off into it's own IASIG working group which will be integrated into the WIKI after publishing.
